The first stage in the 'munching process is the Preparation stage.

The first level of quality control (QC) checks happens here. All documents are hand checked for tears, frayed edges, folds and other problems that could result in poor quality scans or machine malfunctions.

Documents are then sorted and grouped by type or according to any special client instructions.

Test scans are performed and sent to you for approval before the main job is started.

The second stage in the process is the Scanning of the prepared documents.

Documents are fed into one of our high-speed scanners and monitored on-screen by a documrent handling specialist as they are being scanned.

The second QC check is performed here - making sure that every scan is a faithful reproduction of the original document.

Depending on your requirements, a print check is also performed here to ensure that the scanned data can be reproduced if so desired.

Assembly, the third stage of the process, is where we convert the scanned information into the final delivery format.

Any document navigational structres are built to your specifications and tested. If a database is required, it will be built at this stage.

A third QC and a consistency check are performed here. The files are staged on a simulated disc and stress tested. A final 20% sampling test of the content is performed - if the data passes this test a final ISO-certified CD or DVD-ROM is pressed.

The final stage is the Closeout and Delivery phase . All original documents are checked, packed and readied for shipping. All electronic files and the supporting documentation is checked against the originals.

The package is then ready for pickup or delivery
